Stop/Start/Continue




If you’ve followed me for a while you know I’m pragmatic and love a good tool. As in life, in coaching we tend to have our go-to tools that are tried and true and work well in many situations. SSC or start, stop, continue is just that kind of tool.


Implementing it is pretty simple and works well in many situations- teams and individuals. What is it you want/need to start doing to move the needle or work towards a goal? If your goal is to get in shape it might be as simple as start moving more every day. If you want to be better read it might be start reading for 15 minutes daily. Stop- what’s not working for you? What habits are holding you back and do you want/need to discontinue? Continue- what’s working for you that you can do more of to get you to your goal?


Simply observing what’s working/not working and taking time to adjust can dramatically impact your results.
